So before you say yes, think carefully about what you want to create. As soon as you say yes, your intention becomes directed to an outcome. Saying yes is a creative act, a commitment to bring something new into existence.

When you realize the creative power contained in saying yes, you also begin to realize the importance of getting clear on what you’re declaring. Clarity on what matters most to you, brings what you want into alignment with who you are, and what you’re saying yes to.

When you say yes to what you want, and commit with your whole heart, the universe responds in supportive ways.

If you don’t think you can have what you want then you are accepting no as your answer. The good news is you can switch your no to yes.

This practice is more than saying the right words. It’s recognizing the actions that distinguish a yes from a no.

I came to this when I sustained an injury running. I hurt my left knee. I went to my chiropractor and did all the exercises and practices prescribed for healing, but continued to run and experience pain. I could hardly walk down the stairs at the gym. Then it came to me. I thought I was saying yes to healing, but in practice I was saying yes to pain by continuing to run. I made a commitment to stop running for 30 days, and said yes wholeheartedly to healing my knee. Now I’m doing my exercises and practices for healing, and noticing a remarkable difference. I can walk down stairs without pain! I’m itching to go running again, but it’s not time yet. 30 days is up the end of this month, and I’ll let you know what happens.

If you find you are not getting the results you want, what are you saying yes to that’s different from what you say you want now? Pay attention to your results. If your actions don’t match your intended outcome then stop, and affirm what you specifically want. This can be a major wake-up call. It was for me!

So here’s the practice:

1. Say YES to what you want.
2. Notice if NO has become your answer in any area of your life. Switch NO to YES if that’s your true intention.
3. Refine your YES to specifically what you are asking to receive, and be open to receive it.
4. Be grateful for what you have and the opportunity to say YES now.

Have fun with this Uplifting Moment. It will inform your thinking about what’s possible, and guide your actions. Remember when you say YES, the universe says YES too. So bring all of your attention and intention to what you ask for.

My love goes with you as you work with this Uplifting Moment.
